The fifth annual Shrimp & Jazz Festival was held on Little River’s historic waterfront. The family oriented festival included arts and crafts vendors, live jazz music, and a traditional Shrimp Cookoff. The famous Dixie Land Jazz band performed throughout the weekend. Performances by other bands, including Voodoo Flute, the Bernie Kenerson Group, and Kat Daniels & The Rhythm Kings rounded out the celebration.
