A timeless work, Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera set against the backdrop of a series of events seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. The main characters will be familiar to people with knowledge of the Bible’s New Testament, and this show follows Jesus during the last week of his life. This musical contains little dialogue and is quite gritty within the realm of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber’s canon.
