This race shows off the beauty of Myrtle Beach, celebrates the 80s, and kicks off summer! Participants will begin on the sand at Plyler Park and head north for 1 mile and then return to complete for a total of 2 miles for this evening run. Afterwards, hang out at Plyler Park for live music, food, and fun! Race participants will receive a hotdog, chips, and soda/water compliments of Moe Moon’s! Bring your beach towel, dress up in your favorite 80s costume, and have a picnic together. This is an un-timed event and no overall or age group awards will be given. A timing clock will be posted at the finish. All participants dressed in 80s attire will be entered into a raffle prize drawing! No animals or strollers allowed on the race course.
