Presented by the Greg Sisson Team at Tanger Outlets 501, this marks the second year for this exciting, now annual, event. Starting before the race at 7:30 a.m. and running until 11:30 a.m. will be the Rockin Around the Forest Festival. This holiday festival will feature food trucks, inflatables, free photos with Santa, “touch a truck” with Horry County Fire Department and Horry County Police Department, along with holiday-themed games, crafts, face painting and plenty of great photo opportunities. The first 300 kids at the event will get a free craft bag from Teachers Touch! Both the 5K and One-Mile Hustle begin at 8 a.m. This will be a family friendly event and runners, walkers, and strollers are all welcome and encouraged to join us! The 5K will be for those who are ambitious enough to take on the chip-timed 5K course and the Holiday Hustle is geared toward those with children and pets. All participants will receive Rockin’ Around the Forest swag, a finishers medal, and post-race refreshments.The Rockin’ around the Forest race will start on the Waccamaw Pines/Postal Way side of Tanger Outlets, between Carolina Pottery and Eddie Bauer.  Tanger Outlets, 4635 Factory Store Blvd. Saturday, 7:30 a.m. $27.50+ (5k) and $22.50 + (Hustle).
