The proceeds from this 5K run/walk will all go to benefit Lighthouse for Life, a non-profit organization based in Columbia that is fighting against sex trafficking in our nation. Their mission is to educate the community and empower survivors to eradicate human trafficking! The organizers will have a light-up walk-through experience there again this year, so be sure to stop by after you cross the finish line to see how Lighthouse for Life “Shines Light on ‘The Life’” in this display which portrays the story of a survivor of human trafficking. This is a powerful experience, shedding light on the realities of human trafficking in our own backyard. This is a family-friendly event. Walkers, runners, and strollers are all welcomed and encouraged to take part!
