Lauren and Justin met through mutual friends. After the pair purchased a lot to build their dream home, Justin set up a photoshoot for his daughter, Sophia, for her second birthday at the lot. During the shoot, little did Lauren know she would turn around and find Justin on one knee.  The photographer captured the entire thing. The couple didn’t opt for a specific theme at their intimate Wachesaw Plantation big day, but wanted to keep the colors soft, neutral and simple for a timeless, classic and elegant feel. Floral arrangements featured eucalyptus, roses, and spray roses, and were created by the mother of the bride. Though the pair decided not to have a traditional wedding party, Lauren wanted her sister involved in the ceremony in some way. She ended up officiating the ceremony for the couple, which was a perfect memory they will cherish forever. The centerpieces were complemented by gold compote vases and gold charger plates. Most of the decor was DIY, with the bride’s sister hand-pressing the invitations and the two of them designing and creating the signage. The pair did a late-night snack for their guests: Diet Coke in glass bottles and Chick-fil-A sandwiches. Despite the challenges of getting married during a pandemic, the couple could not have asked for a more perfect day!
