Five cemeteries are located on Hobcaw Barony, two of which are for former plantation workers and their decedents. This program will feature a two-mile hike that includes a discussion of grave decorating traditions, tombstone art and the connections to Hobcaw. The route will continue on to Friendfield Village to include traditions and history of this site. The hike will also include Hobcaw Barony’s tract of the original King’s Highway.
