Get into the spirit of the season at the Kaminski House Museum
It’s hard to believe it’s already December! Get into the Christmas spirit on December 11 & 12 for some fun weekend events at Georgetown’s Kaminski House Museum.
The Friday and Saturday fun will include a holiday village and market featuring baked goods, holiday gifts made by local artisan and fresh produce. There will also be workshops to create holiday wreaths, music from the Saltwater Chamber Orchestra and holiday family photos.
Be sure to stick around Friday evening for the 2020 Light Up the Lawn, where stunning lights will be illuminated outdoors at the museum. The lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m. and will feature music by Lowcountry Strings and a champagne toast courtesy of Root. An auction of decorated trees and wreaths will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m.
All attendees are encouraged to wear a mask and social distancing will be practiced on the lawn. The events will take place Friday, December 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit kaminskimuseum.org for more details.
