What words would you use to describe your style? Chic, distinguished, confident, fun, classy, elegant and sassy.
What do you want your style to say about who you are? That I’m professional, but also fun and approachable.
Who inspires you and why? For Fashion: Vera Wang, I love her style. It signifies classiness, elegance, luxury and attention to detail. Every piece in a Vera Wang outfit has a purpose and is exquisite. In Life: My Grandmother has always inspired me. She taught me grace, kindness and how to value relationships. She believed that if you showed someone respect, that relationship could be a powerful in many ways. She was right!
Favorite stores to shop: Stitch Fix, White House Black Market, Express, Coach, Michael Kors, Nordstrom, Anne Taylor and Ivy & Leo.
Who is someone fashionable you follow on social media and why?Emma Hill - @emmahill on Instagram. I love her classic and versatile style that can be either business or casual. She features affordable pieces that I would wear and she gives me outfit ideas
If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be? Honestly, my boss’s closet. HGTC President Dr. Marilyn Fore has some of the most beautiful dresses and shoes. Her shoes are incredible and we happen to be the same size.
Best style advice you’ve ever gotten? My grandmother once told me that my smile would make any outfit better and she was right!
Are there any looks or pieces you now swear off that you once loved? I once loved bell bottom jeans and while they’re back, they are not for me.
How has your style evolved since you first made the Most Stylish list? Well, my closet size has increased and so has my shoe collection. I’ve always chosen my shoes first and then the outfit to match. I now have more to choose from. It’s one of my quirks, I like my shoes to stand out.
Best memory from being Most Stylish? I loved the release party and visiting with all the other people that were featured. It’s like being in our own club and it’s such an honor.
