Occupation: Design Director & Buyer for J&K Home Furnishings
What words would you use to describe your style? Classic and timeless.
What do you want your style to say about who you are? Being in the design industry, I’m very fashion forward with a great respect for classic appeals and trends that stand the test of time.
Who inspires you? Personally and professionally, I’m very inspired by William Haines. As an infamous interior designer of Hollywood’s Golden era, “Billy” influenced both the fashion and interior design industry for decades!
Favorite stores to shop: M.Dumas & Sons of Charleston; Nordstrom; Butler’s of Florence; and Gwynn’s of Mt. Pleasant.
How has your style evolved since you first made the Most Stylish list? For the most part, mine has remained consistent; although, I do find myself mingling patterns and textures more often.
Best style advice you’ve ever gotten? As a fellow redhead herself, Grandmother always guided and advised me on colors that would and wouldn’t work with my complexion and hair...and I’ll never waver!
Best memory from being Most Stylish? Ironically, it was my previous appearance in the magazine that caught my current employer’s attention. At the time I was in my tenth year with another company, and it is a story I’m proud to say that prompted me to become part of the J&K Home Furnishings team!
