Darlin’, a rambunctious eight-year-old who is big for her age, has always dreamed of being a Broadway actress. Her mother, Norma Jean, is at the opposite end of a life-changing decision. The pair begin a journey to the Big Apple, Broadway and a new way of life, meeting a cast of interesting characters along the way. Can Norma Jean keep the past she is leaving behind from catching up with them?
