Taste of the Town, Myrtle Beach’s original food festival, had its inaugural year in 1984. Since then, the event has grown into a favorite and features culinary awards, live entertainment, a silent auction and lots of delicious food. The event raises funds for St. Andrew Catholic School’s Capital Improvement Fund, which helps purchase items like new technology, structural renovations and playground equipment.
