Jennifer Wen Ma: Cry Joy Park—Gardens of Dark and Light

This exhibit, hosted by the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, investigates the construction of a utopia inspired by the history of Charleston. The installation aims to present both a gorgeous, otherworldly garden and its dark counterpart. A dark and light garden will both be created, representing the yin/yang balance between utopias and dystopias.

Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, 161 Calhoun Street. Tuesday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Free. (843) 953-4422, halsey.cofc.edu
