Friendfield Village is an African-American village that was once home to 100 slaves and was then lived in by black employees until 1952. This in-depth tour will guide you through the cabins and the 19th century church. Hobcaw Barony has the unique chance to interpret history right on site, with info gleaned from documents, oral histories, photographs and visits from former residents.
