Taylor and Logan went to daycare together and reconnected years later when their families were camping at the same time at Ocean Lakes. They dated and supported each other all throughout high school and college. What Taylor thought was going to be a day for family portraits at Arcadia Plantation turned into a surprise proposal at this special place, where the pair had spent many weekends together as they grew up.

The May 12, 2018, ceremony took place in the exact spot the couple got engaged, followed by a reception at the DeBordieu Clubhouse. The Southern wedding, planned by Truly You Events, featured a reception tent decked out in string lights, farm chairs and white and blue linens. DJ Jeff Benton kept the party going and there was lots of laughter and dancing.
