Georgialee and Nathanael met at his best friend, John’s, birthday party. Nathanael was in town from D.C. to surprise John, who was Georgialee’s neighbor at the time. After a year and a half together, the couple was about to have dinner with her family for an early Christmas celebration. Nathanael insisted they go visit the Ocean Club to see how pretty the sunset was. When they started their beach walk, Georgialee saw a beautiful arbor covered in flowers with a walkway lined with small lights. Her entire family set everything up as a surprise for the proposal. They followed the special moment with dinner at Ruth’s Chris with their family and friends. The wedding was held at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. The mix of soft green, blush, lavender and silver here and there made the bride’s vision of a winter fairytale come true. The pair strayed from a traditional cake by choosing mini Bundt cakes. The couple currently lives in Virginia Beach and hope to one day return to South Carolina.
