Waiting for Godot

Theatre/Film

Atlantic Stage will bring this classic to the beach for the fall. The Samuel Becket play centers on two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, who wait for the arrival of someone named Godot. While passing the time they engage in a variety of discussions and encounter three other characters. Waiting for Godot was voted the “most significant English language play of the 20th century” in 1990 in a poll conducted by the British Royal National Theatre.

Atlantic Stage, 10177 N. Kings Highway. Sunday, 3 p.m. $17.50–$27.50. (877) 287-8587, atlanticstage.com
