Nang Yai: 3D Shadow Art

Museums/Exhibits

Nang Yai is a Thai art form dating back to the 1400s that employs shadow puppetry to retell cultural narratives with a bonfire, intricately designed animal hides and a white screen. This exhibit by Jeff Case, a CCU professor, interprets this ancient art using modern methods with stereographic depictions of mythical Thai scenes.
