Back for the 19th year, this event is held in honor of Guy Daniels. Daniels, who was a student at College of Charleston and worked at a local surf shop, passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition. This two-day contest brings together the surf community to celebrate his life while raising funds for education and conservation.
