The couple met on the dating app Tinder. After 10 months of dating, they headed to Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens. With “Can’t Help Falling in Love” playing on the guitar, Alan got down on one knee. The pair’s families were both standing off to the side cheering after Alexandra said yes. The wedding took place at Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club. The colors for the big day were gold, blush and ivory with the feel of a fairy tale wedding. Accents including gold beveled mirrors with ivory writing, golden candelabras accented with flowers and over 250 candles lit throughout. The cake topper was an old-fashioned porcelain bride and groom that once was used by the bride’s great-grandparents. The wedding favor, designed by the bride’s father, was a personalized wine stopper with the couple’s names and coasters with the wedding date. The pair had a sparkler exit and left in a vintage car. Alexandra and Alan live in Myrtle Beach.
