Talia Saghri & Collin Jewell

Collin and Talia met as children and crossed paths again when they both worked at Gulfstream Cafe. After attending colleges in separate states, both moved back to Murrells Inlet. Collin asked Talia out for a drink, which turned into hours of chatting. After five years together, the pair went on a getaway to Charleston, which Talia believed would be an early celebration for her birthday. As the pair strolled in Waterfront Park and admired the beauty and history, Collin dropped to his knee and proposed in front of the pineapple fountain. The ceremony was held at the Diana Fountain at Brookgreen Gardens, followed by a reception at the Holliday Cottage. Brookgreen has always been a special place for the couple. One of their first dates was at Nights of a Thousand Candles and Collin’s father recently retired as President and CEO. The wedding had the same beautiful and natural feel as the venue, with fresh flowers and candlelight. Talia and Collin live in Murrells Inlet.
