Mixing It Up: The former “Dr. Durant’s house” on Ocean Boulevard lets you peek into the past at paned doors and a fireplace original to the 1950s specs, but with modern touches worked in.
Open Up: The closed galley kitchen was opened up to bring in the boulevard view and mingle with the main living and dining areas. Creative elements like river rock and crisp, white pecky cypress cabinets carry the Warren design stamp.
Retro Chic: A clean and airy space marks the interior, with every square inch put into service. Even an outdoor shower was reworked to become an enclosed laundry room. Calcutta marble shows up in the bathrooms as a nod to the past that also appeals to the contemporary aesthetic.
