The Beach Ball classic started in 1981 as a dream of Socastee High School Coach Dan D’Antoni. The first event had just eight teams, but the event has since evolved into the premier high school holiday tournament in the United States. Come catch a few games and you may even see the next Kobe Bryant or Vince Carter, both of whom took part in the tournament in the past. Winner Game 7 vs. Winner Game 8.
