This year’s Theatre of the Republic holiday production will be Scrooge: The Musical, which is the perfect recipe for getting the whole family into the Christmas spirit. This 1992-penned production closely follows Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes an experience of redemption on Christmas Eve while being visited by the ghost of Jacob Marley, his former partner, and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
