June 11
Head down to Ocean Drive’s iconic Horseshoe for this free concert series that takes place annually every Thursday night from June-September. Each week showcases a different band, and locals and visitors alike are invited to bring their beach chairs and enjoy the rhythms under the open sky. Attendees can expect a mix of beach music, R&B, rock, and country—guaranteed to get toes tapping and hands clapping. “This summer, the City of North Myrtle Beach invites residents and visitors alike to come together for a season of live music, community spirit, and patriotic celebration with its special theme: ‘Celebrating America’s 250,’” notes NMB Special Events & Programs Manager Angel Sylvester. “Throughout the summer, select bands will feature patriotic tributes, performing songs that celebrate America’s rich musical heritage.
“As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, the beloved concert series will serve as a vibrant tribute to American music, culture, and unity. Concertgoers are encouraged to take part in the festivities by wearing red, white, and blue, especially during the July concerts, helping transform Main Street into a sea of patriotic pride. “Music on Main continues to be a cornerstone summer tradition in North Myrtle Beach, offering free live entertainment in a lively, walkable setting filled with local shops and restaurants.”
