Myrtle Beach

Racing enthusiasts and 10,000 of their closest friends will head to the streets of Myrtle Beach on a new date this year. Previously held in February, the marathon has now moved to March. The Myrtle Beach Marathon benefits organizations including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of South Carolina, our local chapter of the American Red Cross and Horry County Schools. Now in its 19th year, this Boston marathon qualifying race is a fast, flat ocean course. Several events and shorter races are also part of the marathon weekend.
