The Long Bay Youth Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Charles Jones Evans, presents its Fall Concert. The program will highlight Music Through the Ages, from the Renaissance to the 20th Century, including a Canzona by Gabrieli, Concerto Grosso in F by Handel, Mozart’s Symphony No. 26, Sicilienne by Fauré and Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances. Plus, two Long Bay Symphony musicians - Deanne Renshaw, on the English horn, and Stephen Hand, on trumpet - join the LBYS to perform Quiet City by Aaron Copland.
