Exterior of the Blank's home
The Dining Area is a mix of moods with a modified gun cabinet that holds china and antique chests topped with Judith Jackson pottery stoneware.
Clever design makes use of every inch in the updated kitchen with a banquette retrofitted into the window area. The 1940s beach house now boasts concrete countertops.
Neutrals be gone in Peaches Blank’s beach home. Not only does the main living area gaze upon the sea, designer Marcie Smith infused ocean-inspired colors into the room with playful fabrics like a blue Reverse Geometric by Aga and Romo’s Portico in Lagoon.
A-list appointments attracted the Farrar family to this stately home. Many of the rooms are painted “corrected blue.” As dentist, Robert Farrar explains, “It’s the color we look at for a few seconds and then when we look at a patient’s teeth, we see the true hue.” And, this blue obviously works to bring out the inherent tones of everything around it.
The backyard features a replica of the 13th hole at Augusta National Golf Club.
