Known for her smooth, jazz-influenced vocals, Ledisi released her first album in 2000 and won “Outstanding Jazz Album” at the California music awards for her 2001 release, Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue. Her two latest albums, 2007’s Lost & Found and 2009’s Turn Me Loose, were both Grammy-nominated.
