Long Bay Symphony hosts this event, with half of the proceeds going toward CAN (Champion Autism Networks). This sensory-relaxed concert features fan favorites in addition to familiar movie music. There will be an “instrument petting zoo” between 2 and 3 p.m. where instruments (violins, violas, clarinets, maracas, etc.) will be available and kids can handle them, attempt to play them, and listen to the sounds they make. Noise-canceling headphones and fidget toys will be provided, and when the concert’s lights go up, the sound goes down. Additionally, quiet spaces and flexible seating are in place.
