The Black Myrtle Beach Kwanzaa Celebration is an annual cultural experience that honors the rich traditions and values of the African-American community. This free family friendly event brings together elders, youth, creatives, and community leaders for a powerful evening of: Cultural Performances, Storytelling & Spoken Word, Drumming & Dancing, games for all ages, and a shared community meal. Everyone is encouraged to bring something to share, a small side dish, beverage, or dessert, as This year’s celebration is sponsored in part by the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance. Space at the train depot is limited, so reserve your free ticket!
