At Hobcaw Barony, spend some time in Bellefield’s historic Victory Garden, bathed in the afternoon shade, to experience the joys of gardening! After a short bus ride, participants will taste fresh vegetables and herbs, examine indigo plants, frolic with butterflies in the pollinator garden section, and more! Participants should wear close-toed shoes and dress for the weather (and the possibility of biting insects). Participants may want to bring: hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and water. (Exertion level: Medium impact- walking on uneven terrain, standing) Reservations required.
