Gullah Geechee Program Series

This program is presented by Ron Daise, Brookgreen’s Vice President for Creative Education, as well as an author and historian. The Gullah Geechee people are descendants of enslaved West Africans brought to the area to work on plantations. Learn about their language and culture. The program will be held in the Wall Lowcountry Center Auditorium and is free with garden admission.
