Lead by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Grace Potter, the Nocturnals cite musical influences from James Brown to The Band. After gaining popularity in Vermont, the band went on to open for acts like The Black Crowes and Dave Matthews Band. Grace has lent her vocals to the likes of Kenney Chesney, singing on the song “You and Tequila.” The band’s fourth studio album, The Lion The Beast The Beat, is due out June 12.
