The Georgetown Wooden Boat Show will celebrate its 30th year in 2019. There will be more than 140 classic wooden boats displayed, as well as children’s model boatbuilding, maritime arts and crafts, knot tying, food, music and more. A special attraction is Saturday’s Wooden Boat Challenge, where teams of two race to build a rowing skiff and test their boats on the Sampit River. Proceeds from the show benefit the South Carolina Maritime Museum.
