Benefiting the South Carolina Maritime Museum, the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show is fun for the whole family. The event will feature children’s model boatbuilding, knot tying, maritime arts and crafts, food and music. A highlight is Saturday’s Wooden Boat Challenge, where teams of two build a rowing skiff in a four-hour time limit and then test their creations for seaworthiness on the Sampit River.
