Katherine Hunt, Ingram Planetarium manager, developed a love for origami after learning the craft from her grandmother. She is delighted to be able to share it with visitors. Explore how the art combines the beauty of paper folding with mathematics and how scientists and engineers have leveraged the technique in designing cutting edge technology. Participants will learn to make some holiday designs that can be used as decorations or small gifts.
