During nursing school, Tasha Savage realized she wanted to be an advocate for her patients and their families. It was at the encouragement from a dear lady that Tasha founded Arch Angel Home Care in April of 2014.
Tasha’s Angels now “serve the Grand Strand with an Angel’s Touch of Care and Concierge Style!” Arch Angel Home Care Aides go above and beyond to help with daily living activities, medication reminders, light housework, laundry, changing bed linens, and transportation. They do all this and more with love and compassion.
“So many people have moved to the Grand Strand area to retire and have no family close by to help them when they need it most,” explains Tasha. “Arch Angel wants to be their extended family to assist in the difficult times and/or the everyday mundane activities.”
Her services are not just for the feeble and weak, but for anyone that needs an extra hand. Arch Angel Concierge is an affordable way to have a personal assistant that can assist with coordinating and overseeing home maintenance and repairs, planning and arranging hurricane evacuations and safety checks within the home, and offers companionship to lunch, shopping, walking on the beach or just hanging out.
In November of 2019, Arch Angel Home Care acquired an office with a storefront, signifying their credibility as a company. The storefront allows them to offer bright and beautiful canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and accessories which provide joy and style along with safety. “We carry the pretty stuff.”
Aiding and educating our community is a high priority for Tasha. “I am very passionate about the challenges of dementia and our community,” she says.
Her goal is to train our community about the 120 variations of dementia and how to care for each in the best way.
Arch Angel is a member of the North Myrtle Beach and Little River chambers. Tasha is a member of the North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club and has sponsored several community fundraisers.
Tasha’s advice to women starting out on their own is to plan on working long hours but never give up chasing your dream.
“Do not hesitate to ask for advice from other business owners! Work smarter, not harder!” she says.
In the future, Tasha wants to open a pilot office and envisions Arch Angel Home Care and Concierge as known to provide the best help, hope and joy along the Grand Strand.
