The BFF (Breast Friends Forever) Pink Ribbon Run will be back this September. This family-friendly event creates awareness and raises funds for breast cancer treatment and research, as well as celebrates those currently fighting and honors the memory of those who have passed on.

There will be both a 5K and 10K course option, and participants who decide to take on the Double Bling Challenge will participate in both. The routes will wind through Barefoot Resort and Marina. The day will also include a kids’ fun run.

Last year’s race raised more than $10,000. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Caring in Our Lifetime and Carolina Regional Cancer Center. Caring in Our Lifetime provides financial assistance with medical expenses to individuals in Horry and Georgetown counties affected by breast cancer. Carolina Regional Cancer Center pairs the most advanced radiation therapy technology with experienced professionals to provide the best possible care.
