Celebrate Independence Day with Conway’s Riverfest
The Conway Riverfest is one of the largest family-fun festivals held in Conway. The event has been an annual staple of the Conway area for more than 38 years, and continues to get better every year. This year’s event, presented by Beverly Homes, will take place June 26 on Main Street in Conway. This all-day event is packed with vendors, inflatables, pony and camel rides for the kids, and live entertainment.
Start the day by viewing a special opening ceremony, which includes a color guard presentation of the American flag and the singing of the National Anthem. Watch (or ride in!) the Golf Cart Parade starting at 11:30, featuring a scenic route down 2nd Avenue to Marina Drive and Riverfront Park. Vendors will line Elm Street and the Artisan Market, and you can let the kids run wild at the Kids Zone, which features the annual Jello Jump, among many other attractions. End the evening with a trip to the Food and Beer Garden, along with a view of the spectacular Conway National Bank Fireworks Extravaganza. If you make plans to stay the entire day, be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair to view the bands and fireworks!
With a little something for everyone, the Conway Riverfest is the perfect way to spend a summer Saturday. Visit the website for a full schedule of events and additional information.
