Quigley’s 707 Pint & Plate is a neighborhood bar and grill for cool cats and kittens. It has all the comforts that define casual, but kicks it up a notch with trendy mod-rustic design elements and a clean, sleek vibe.

A recently opened sister location to the OG Quigley’s in Litchfield Beach, Quigley’s 707 is a welcome addition to The Shoppes at Tournament Boulevard. Throughout quarantine, the restaurant offered the locals takeout and curbside pickup for food and adult beverages, and then opened their dining room and front patio for business, with 50 percent seating capacity guidelines followed. Barstools were cleared from the bar to keep up with the influx of takeout orders lining the bar top.

The shepherd's pie is a rich lamb stew topped with mashed potatoes.

No matter if you decide to visit for lunch or dinner, every meal is handcrafted with fresh Lowcountry ingredients. For starters, spicy pimento cheese, black-eyed pea hummus, Cajun seafood cornbread, fried green tomatoes and fried pickles are a handful of the many enticing appetizer offerings. There are also house-made soups and salads. Nearly 20 entrees include a wide focus—and all are so good—covering comfort foods like meatloaf and shepherd’s pie, shrimp and grits, fish and chips, steak, ribs and chicken and waffles. Vegetarians will dig the Portobello Stack of pesto grilled portobello mushrooms, grilled zucchini, fried green tomato and fresh mozzarella topped with marinara. Sandwiches run the gamut from burgers and grilled chicken to fish tacos.

Complete each meal with one of the craft beers on tap, martinis, wines or cocktails. (Growler refills are also available.) Happy hour and daily specials freely flow here. And take advantage of their $10 menu on Tuesdays.
