A few ways to add sparkle to your special day

Color Runner
Dress up drab white table linens with punches of color or patterns parading down a fabric runner that can solidify any centerpiece theme–from feminine florals to Asian sleek to glitter-glam metallic. Wade even farther from white with unique accompaniments like black dishes at table settings or gold cutlery.

Man Your Stations
Food stations aren’t new reception buffet line options, but brides are now feeding both the health conscious and sweet tooth. Line up for sushi stations and make-your-own-salad tables, complete with creative toppings, greens and dressings. On the sweeter side, candy buffets manned with scoops and decorative bags are fun, or try a late-night carnival-themed station with corn dogs and a cotton candy machine.

Grooms Take the Cake
The groom’s cake is a longstanding Southern tradition making a comeback beside the towering, tiered main event. Let’s face it, the groom doesn’t get much “face time” through the reception décor, but through his thoughtful bride, he can in a sideshow cake shaped like a box of cigars, his favorite beverage or athletic team.
