The Long Bay Symphony will present “War and Peace,” an inspiring patriotic show for Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day, the Long Bay Symphony will present “War and Peace” on November 9 and 10, with concerts in three locations. The program will include uplifting patriotic music and will feature inspirational songs from the Revolutionary War to the present. The pieces will trace our nation’s quest for freedom through both narrative and music.

Performers will take the audience on a historical journey through major conflicts in American history to honor the sacrifice and commitment of the brave men and women in all branches of the military. From standards like “Battle Hymn,” “God Bless America” and “Yankee Doodle” to numerous other popular tunes associated with each time period, this program is all about the pride we feel in our great country.

Tickets are free for all Veterans and $10 general admission for all others. Tickets should be reserved in advance. The show will be performed at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, at Howard Auditorium in Georgetown. On Sunday, November 10, there will be a performance at 2 p.m. at First UMC in Conway and a performance at 5:30 p.m. at the Hall at St. John’s Church in Myrtle Beach.

For tickets, call the Long Bay Symphony Box office at (843) 448-8379, visit them at 48th Avenue N. Suite 310-E in Myrtle Beach, or purchase online at LongBaySymphony.com.
