Coastal Uncorked brings a weekend of fun to Broadway at the Beach

Uncork the fun times at the sixth annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival. The three-day event over Labor Day weekend brings in festival goers from more than 20 states and four countries to the Grand Strand. This year’s event has parked itself behind the Pavilion Park Central at Broadway at the Beach. With the activities planned, the saying should be that “good” things come in threes.

Chocolate Under the Moon kicks off the weekend festivities on Friday, September 2, from 6–9 p.m. This eclectic event is a dessert and moonshine mixology challenge. Local bartenders will be competing for your vote on who can design the best moonshine cocktail. Decadent desserts as well as live music will complete your night under the stars. The event is $20 to attend.

Back by popular demand for the third year, the Brews ‘N the Beach Craft Beer Event is on Saturday, September 3, from 4–7 p.m. With more than 15 breweries offering 75 unique and rare beer samplings, beer drinkers can rejoice and experiment with new brews. Area vendors, food and live music can be expected as well as a souvenir beer tasting glass. The event is $25 to attend.

The festival finishes out with the main event of the Grand Wine Tasting Tent on Sunday, September 4, from 1–5 p.m. There will be 15 vineyards offering more than 100 varieties of wine. Live music will be playing and guests will get a Boar’s Head Brand food sample plate as well as a Coastal Uncorked souvenir wine glass. The event is $25 to attend.

Tickets are on sale now at www.CoastalUncorked.com. A variety of options are available from a three-day pass at $65 to a $10 non-drinking ticket.
