Jennifer and Nabeel met while attending East Carolina University. After eight years together, Nabeel told her they needed to go to a work lunch event at a nice restaurant in Washington, D.C. Jennifer had been sick and begged to skip it. Nabeel convinced her it was important, and when they walked into a private room he got down on one knee. The couple’s families were there to top off the surprise.

Their March 30, 2019, destination wedding was at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club. The day was classy and elegant, featuring gold and blush, plus touches of cornflower blue. Planner Tammy Peifer and florist Kerry Kergerise brought the vision to life. Jennifer wore an Anne Barge gown from Love Couture Bridal. The stunning white cake from Croissants featured fresh flowers. Guests enjoyed a special treat at their place settings with sweets brought in from Lebanon as a nod to Nabeel’s heritage.

Jessica Brantley was in charge of hair, with Emily Swearingen completing makeup looks. Guests enjoyed the sounds of DJ Scott and Company. Videography was provided by Hart to Heart Media, with transportation and equipment rentals taken care of by Carolina Limousine and EventWorks, respectively.
