This couple proves that opposites attract
Jacquelyn and Jordan met through mutual friends. After dating for a couple of months, they realized they were the epitome of “opposites attract.” After seven years together, Jordan planned a weekend getaway to Wilmington, N.C., for Jacquelyn’s 26th birthday. The morning after a great evening out, they walked out on the waterfront at sunrise, and Jordan proposed.
The June 6, 2020, wedding took place at Litchfield Plantation. The bride chose an elegant crepe Mikaella Bridal gown, featuring a bateau neckline, from the White Magnolia. The groom and bridal party all wore black, with tuxes from the Black Tux. Beautiful Salon & Spa provided makeup, with Shelley Simmons styling hair. The fun and modern chocolate caramel wedding cake was created by Flowerchild Desserts, along with mini desserts like chocolate caramel cupcakes, salted caramel brownies and lemon meringue tarts. The most special thing about the day was the pair’s vows—after nine years together, their original words were from the heart.
