Close out the season with downtown concert series

The crowds are thinning, the roads are clearing, and the nights are starting to cool. But the heat is still on downtown at Plyler Park as the Hot Summer Nights concert series continues through Labor Day weekend.

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, Ocean Boulevard hosts free performances from 8 p.m. to midnight. Now you couldn’t find a better time to take in one of these shows.  Whether you prefer blues, R&B, soul, reggae, country or rock, a strong lineup for the remainder of August will meet your needs with bands such as Tru Sol, Mystic Vibrations, Ten Toes Up and the Josh Brannon Band taking the stage. And don’t miss out on the Year End Party with the rock/roots band Scoot Pittman on September 3.

It’s not too late to enjoy the Boardwalk, so come fill a night with some fun, your loved ones and great tones.
