People all around us on the Grand Strand are putting their lives on the line to keep this country moving during the COOVID-19 crisis. That includes healthcare workers, first responders and grocery store workers, along with many heroes who did not expect to find themselves on the front lines. Heroes are all around us.

Grand Strand Magazine invited readers to tell us about those they'd like people to know about. Teresa Dullaghan nominated Tiffany Keys, Chief Nursing Officer of Grand Strand Medical Center, as her Grand Strand Hero.

"Tiffany is a ‘hand’s on’ CNO," Teresa wrote. "She leads by example and is whole heartedly looking out for her team of nursing leaders, the staff, and ensuring excellent quality, safe patient-centered care is provided for every patient at GSMC.”

Tiffany’s work is impacting our local community as she serves as the head of nursing and oversees the care of patients in a hospital with over 400 beds. “She has been instrumental in keeping the staff calm in all of the chaos,” said Teresa. “She impacts our community by being a healthcare hero who values her healthcare heroes. And that is the perfect example of caring for her team like family."
