Crude's Veteran Ride raises funds for servicemen and women in need

Enjoy the day with new friends and old, as you cruise 180 miles of scenic South Carolina by motorcycle! The tenth anniversary of Crude’s Veteran Ride will take place on May 12, during the Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally.

Start off at the Golden Egg in Surfside Beach and head south, making four stops along the way, with lunch at Low Country Harley in Charleston. The ride will be escorted and includes gas stops.

This is not a poker run. Riders will wear a wristband and use a simple punch card for the chance to win a $500 prize, with additional 50/50 prizes and more.

The day will wrap up at the Causeway Grill & Raw Bar in Garden City, where there will be a free pizza party and an extended happy hour. Prizes, including cash and great items from local and national businesses, will be announced at this final stop and you must be present to win. In addition, Jamin’ Leather will have a leather goods auction.

Proceeds from Crude’s Veteran Ride will benefit Homes for Our Troops. This nonprofit organization works to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide to injured veterans, enabling them to rebuild their lives.

Participation in the event will cost $15 per bike or $20 per bike with a passenger. Come enjoy a beautiful spring day of cruising, spending time with friends and enjoying delicious food and drinks, all to help our veterans in need.
