For Babb Custom Homes, it is all about honesty and integrity while providing the best possible service and top-of-the-line products for each and every customer and home that we build. We strive to make the building process as simple as it can be for our customers. Building custom homes is our passion, so we know the ins and outs of the process; that is not always the case for our clients. It is our job to guide them through every step of the process. Our goal is that once the project is complete, our clients walk into their home and feel an immediate sense of comfort and ultimate satisfaction. The featured home is a new construction in North Myrtle Beach.

Please provide a bit more information about your business:
We are a family-run company that has been in business for more than 35 years! Owner Charlie Babb has built this company from the ground up and is still the main contributor to our success. Two of his three daughters manage and operate the office.  We have an in-house crew (some of whom have been with us 30 years as well), along with many subcontractors and vendors that make all of what we do, possible.  That saying “it takes a village,” could not be more true for our company! 

Any noteworthy awards you’re excited to mention? 
Diamond Home Award Winner–Brunswick County (N.C.) Parade of Homes. However, the “award” that we feel most honored to have earned are the referrals of the customers that we have worked with over the years.  Their kind words and sharing of their build experience to others, means more to us than any plaque or trophy we will ever receive! 

Tell us about this project. What was asked of you and what did you do? 
This was a special build, the customers were very specific on each and every detail and design of the home. Being that they knew exactly what they wanted, it made our job pretty easy!  The original design that the customer wanted would not fit within the buildable envelope of their lot, so after taking the general concept of the plan that they wanted and doing some “tweaking,” a design that fit their lifestyle and expectations was born. From that, we were able to bring it all to life!    

What did you love most about this project?
Hands down, the customers! Of course, the house is spectacular–but being able to work with people who genuinely appreciate the expertise, knowledge, and quality that we bring to our builds is the most rewarding part of what we do!
